Brief Calendar ofRoekron(2-28-15 version)
--- PAGE 1 --- Calendar of Roekron (a work in progress…): The calendar is similar to ours, with similar seasons, holidays, and festivals, though due to the multiple religions in Roekron, there are a great deal more holidays being celebrated on any given day. The current calendar being used is Elven, and begins with year 5123, the founding of the Elven Empire in the West. 12,273 1A (1988) Roekron marks its birth this year which is the date of the Battle of Four Powers, and the naming of Dsesnor as the ruler of the Land. 12,837 1A the Elves arrived in Roekron and marks the start of the First Age. The first age lasted almost 1000 years ending with the destruction of the Grey Isles by Grisodemdal. 13,825 2A (1998). The Dark Age followed, lasting almost 1200 years. 14,955 3A (1999) (2000). The third age was also long, almost 800 years, but prosperous with the Wizards Trade Order leading the w

Roekron Plot Update Summer 2019 7/1/19 The Uprising of the Enchanted: At the end of sixth moon, developments surrounding the odd behavior of magical items in Roekron, particularly around Dsesnor reached a critical state and millions of magical items transcended their physical form all at once and became energy! Apparently, the spirits within these items have been affected in some way that causes them to transform into a form that is a hybrid of the spirit within and the item they have lived in. Though many tried to keep the beings from transforming and some even realized that they had encountered these beings before, not knowing what they were, the effect was unstoppable by any known means (though it is theorized that Astengrad attempted to stop this, and if so, that they considered it Elder Sorcery of mass destruction). Remaining neutral during times of war, Axiems has stayed alive because when Dagdeoth invades and clearly has the advantage, they do not resist but instead simply switch sides, aiding Dagdeoth as necessary (though within limits) and Dagdoeth has honored this agreement as it seems to be in their best interest not to kill the leaders of the city who are quite resourceful and willing to give aid to Dagdeoth when required. 2021 Revised Tabletop Fanwar Battle System! 2021 Developments -Online Variations: what follows is the revised online rules format for Fanwar online. There is also a system included for table top, but this doc focuses on online formats and setup. For online versions, we do have the Game Master play all the monsters, and we use two online resources to facilitate our games. The first platform we use is called Roll20.net and allows us to share a game board in a table top like setting where kids can move their pieces around and see what the GM needs them to. This platform also allows for video and audio communication, but because it is sometimes not as clear, we often use the popular gaming voice and chat app called Discord for sound and general discussion. If you are running online games, or want to go on an online adventure, you will need Roll20.net and probably a Discord account as well.
